Care for Kids Barnstaple 10K 2024

About the run
The 10K will start at Barnstaple Rugby Club, with a loop around Bridge Field before heading out onto the Tarka Trail to Pottington. Runners will cross the river over Taw Bridge and then complete a short loop on the Tarka Trail before crossing the Long Bridge and heading to Rock Park. Following a loop around Rock Park, runners will then head back to the Rugby Club along Taw Vale and the Strand.
The course is predominately off road using the Tarka Trail and public pavements; it is a flat, fast course perfect for a first race as well as an ideal opportunity to gain a personal best. Approximately measured 10K.
Team Entry- You can enter as a team by signing up individually and entering your team name on the participant details form. Please note running clubs CAN NOT enter as a team.
Baggage storage will be available in the Rugby Club. A ticket system will be in place. Please note: ALL BAGGAGE WILL BE LEFT AT THE OWNERS RISK.

Important information
Online entries close at midnight on Wednesday 3rd July 2024. You will also be able to register on the day.
Running shirts will not be available for runners registering after the 18th June.
Team entries - if you are entering as part of a team, you must ensure your add the correct team name to your application, or you may not be recognised as part of that team on the day.
AFFILIATED fee - Member of a UKA or ARC affiliated running club (tri-clubs and running groups or communities are not eligible for affiliated entry)

We regret that the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. No dogs, pushchairs or walkers permitted. Competitors must be over 15 years of age to run. Entry fees are non-refundable.
